Take the Catlins Road, 22km southeast of Balclutha to this attractive beach camp. The camp is at the top of a small hill on grounds that have thickets of bush with a good children’s playground at the entrance. Although the sea is not visible from the camp, it is only a short stroll to the beach. There are 25 power sites and plenty of room for tents. The grounds are spacious and level. A smart little camp with modern amenities, including a large bright kitchen with all appliances and a full stove. An outside BBQ and tables are available. The laundry has auto equipment. The clean ablutions include disability facilities. There is a dump point here. Campers may use the tennis courts or enjoy the many bush walks. Pets by arrangement. Your host is Denise Anderson. Tent sites $12 per person. Power sites, $13.50 per person.
