 Camp Description:
Approximately 45 km north of Westport (SHwy 67), turn-off after the Mokihinui River Bridge and drive about 3km along a scenic riverside road to the Cowshed Café. Gentle Annie is a frost-free, seaside enclave along-side the Tasman Sea. Unlimited campsites are available and five unpowered hard stands for campervans, all within a garden setting. Two showers and toilets. There is no kitchen, a jug, toaster, fridge and freezer are available. What was once a functioning dairy shed, imagination has turned into a most attractive social area and café and pizza oven. There is a covered BBQ garden with swing seats. Bikes and kayaks may be hired. Enjoy the coastal and bushwalks and/or try out the native plant maze. Your hosts are Phil and Ellen Atkins. All sites are $12 per adult, children under 12 are $6 a night. |
