Camp Description:
Drive in through the leafy entranceway to this camp, 13km from Darfield. Many level grassed areas are broken by stands of trees. A swimming hole has been created in the river and there is a playground for children. A central amenities building houses a useful kitchen, ablutions that are well kept and a laundry with automatic equipment. Nearby are tennis courts, a shop, hotels and cafés. A golf course is next door (golf clubs may be hired at the camp). A recycling shed is provided for rubbish. You can fish for Salmon here all year round. A ski field is only a half hour drive away or go on the local historical walk. Your friendly hosts are Noel and Robyn Langridge. All sites $34 for two.
