Only 20 minutes north of Rotorua off SHwy 33, this picturesque camp commands a delightful lakefront spot close to Okere Falls. Great for rafters, boaties and fishermen, the camp has uninterrupted lake views and its own jetty, boat ramp and marina berths. This tranquil lake is also a popular water skiing destination. All amenities are located in a central building: the small kitchen has all the usual facilities and a covered outdoor dining area; there is a small laundry and bright ablutions with roomy showers. Right on the lake edge, with magnificent views across the water, is a cosy recreation/lounge room with TV, table tennis and piano. Just off the covered back porch is a BBQ area. This is the local base for white-water rafting operations, and you’ll find kayaks, dinghy, a playground and water slide to entertain younger campers.
