7km from Warkworth, Sandspit Holiday Park is designed around family camping with lots to keep the kids occupied for hours. The camp has its own little beach and jetty, with a floating pontoon. There is a golf course for those ‘who don’t play golf’, FREE also Peddle boats. The games hall has table tennis, soccer and pool tables. Take a walk down memory lane through the pioneer village of yesteryear. All the facilities are in good order. Enjoy the long summer evenings in one of the two open-air kitchen/BBQ/dining areas. Play a game of maxi chess while the meal cooks, meanwhile the children can get friendly with the donkeys and sheep. An ‘olde’ picture theatre houses the TV room; maybe spend some quiet time in the camp library. Safe swimming here for the children and many other outdoor activities in the area. Coin Internet is available. Your friendly hardworking hosts are Jared and Zena Morrison. All sites are $15 per adult and $8 per child. |
