Omana has an extensive area for camping just above the beach, which is reached through an appealing picnic park that has tables and BBQ’s, and a purpose built campfire site. There are taps, one outdoor cold showers and toilets with wheelchair access. Sites are $10 for adults and $5 for children. There is a designated area in the car park for self-contained vehicles at $5 and $3 for adults and children respectively. Annual passes are available. rubbish bins are provided at Auckland Regional Parks for campers only, so be prepared to take out all rubbish when you leave. |
