At Little River take the Okuti Valley Road for 4km to this little piece of paradise. Camp on level grounds amongst the trees, in the bush or down by the river. The showers are free and hot – one with a shub- and the toilets are long drops – all very clean and tidy. There is no kitchen only an eating shelter that has a cold water sink or you can eat outside at the tables scattered around the park. Your pets will be allowed but must be restrained to protect the birdlife. Relax in the wooded glen or take a walk through the Manaia Nature Habitat with the sights and sounds of native birds and the stunning views, fish, or swim in the river. Food and petrol are available at Little River. 12 power sites are available. Your friendly hosts are Marcus and Megan. Tent sites are $10 per person. Power sites $25 for 2 persons. Price includes admission to reserve. |
